‘Free Energy’ Demo using Magnets (you can make at home easily)

Demonstration by George Green using magnets, which anyone can build as a toy for fun or to explain how magnets can provide energy from the earth’s magnetic force and spin. If someone built a generator, you could probably solve the world’s fuel crisis and pollution.

… something, and I quote again “That’s why the two units need to be MOUNTED TO SOMETHING, as I mentioned, to create a stability between to two forces.
    This -is- free energy.”

So lets stop showing contempt for each other. So, acn you answer these then:

    1) What exactly do you mean by it demonstrates free energy?
    2) What do you mean by “magnets -can- be used for free energy”?
    3) What is your definition of what “free energy” is?

I appologise if I haven’t understood you so far.

The point about the addition of energy from the demonstrators muscles is a sufficient enough explination of what is going on here. If this doesn’t satisfy the “implication” that you even acknoledge makes sense then you really have not got enough understanding to voice a credible opinion.

Out of curiosity, what is your occupation?

Free speach allows us to say what we want. That goes for you too, and your entitled to your opinion. So calm the jets with hosility. I’m not telling you to shut up.

Also, comparing us to a priest is another straw man argument.

It would hold true if the priest wasn’t aware of morals. That is different from knowing the morals and still touching the boys – which is the case in real life.

As a physics student, he’s more than qualified. You need an understanding of this to even qualify in most cases to get into the course. And as an electrical engineer, I’d be useless if I didn’t know about it.

Anyway, answer the 3Qs and I’ll understand your points better.

This does not show what it would be like at all.

I can picture exactly what would happen, and what would not.

I think your major problem with this is that you can’t differentiate between forces and energy.

Again, if this was mounted on a frame, and say a shaft was attached to the ball (lets call it the spinning top), it would not rotate. The only reason this is rotating is due to short lived initial imbalances of the magnetic field BECAUSE its not mounted on a frame

This demonstration passes for proof? I agree with connchri. If you were to mount the device Green is holding so that it remained stationary, eventually the spinning ball would become stationary. The natural attraction of magnetic polar opposites spins the ball. It would eventually stop. There is nothing new here, move along.

doesn’t work if the wheel with magnets is stationary. make the experience and see for yourself

yes, his shaking hand is providing kinetic energy into the system. And one other thing- there is a difference between “forces” and “energy.” Magnets have control over the force of magnetism, but there is no energy there. At least, no energy creation. the magnetic force has a potential energetic pull on every metal object surrounding it, but that potential energy has to later be made up for by kinetic energy. Think about it like gravity.

This is such a crock of shit. The “energy” to move the wheel is coming from his hands as he chases it around the table.

    100% baloney.

Free energy is available today – by using solar PV panels! These should work pretty well with air conditioners. In Europe and the UK, you can sell any excess electricity you generate back to the grid for a premium price.

That is priceless energy, but not ‘free’ energy. Free energy is when nothing is being turned into energy. The sun is an energy source so solar energy is different

    Hi 007monkeyman2

A couple of months ago Kbendix wrote: “Free energy doesn’t mean creating energy… it means that you can get energy for free… …from some external source..”

That sounds like solar and wind to me ;-)

I wonder why someone voted down my previous comment??

  12. 007monkeyman2 13. Feb, 2010 at 6:17 pm #

But that’s not what ‘free energy’ is. That is energy harnessing.

  13. mandolinic 13. Feb, 2010 at 6:24 pm #

“But that’s not what ‘free energy’ is. That is energy harnessing.”

So solar and wind technologies are simply harnessing energy and not creating it from scratch? Yes, that sounds reasonable.

When people talk about free energy they are talking about getting energy from nothing. I can see why people call this free energy but it’s different

You can’t create nor destroy energy! conservation law of E!

  16. 2020production 15. Feb, 2010 at 1:09 pm #

too true. We are, like solar power, just tapping into energy which is occuring naturally. The sun gives us solar power, and the world magnetic energy. Not destroying or creating it.

If they made this, why isn’t it on TV and haven’t people tried to make this for a very, very long time? If this is true, then this should be a world-changing video

  18. Braken101 25. Feb, 2010 at 8:54 pm #

yes, but what if we used an energy that we can’t use and has no effect on the enviroment?

  19. tomislav5555 16. Mar, 2010 at 12:09 pm #

beacuse then world electric and oil companies would lose a lot of money and that is not in their interest so they control media and laws

This is a Hamel device – the outer ring is moved and that supplies the force to get the rotor spinning. Trouble is folks think the rotor is spinning because of the ring giving out magnetic energy (or some other BS). If you put the rotor on a proper axle it doesn’t spin. Having it on a ball causes it to track around the centre of rotation as the outer ring is moved until it gets up enough speed to rotate on its axis.

Schoolboy magician stuff. Definitely not free energy.

  21. kuei1248 19. Mar, 2010 at 10:33 am #

The energy already exists within the magnets.
