All kinds of new technologies are discovered and new fuels. Just bear in mind this simple fact. If someone came up with a method of driving a vehicle using tap water as a fuel, the oil companies would buy up the ownership of such and keep it secret. I’m not saying this has happened but you get the picture.
A majority want green solutions to energy problems but the energy suppliers, coal, oil, nat-gas etc., do not want a green solution, they want to continue making vast profits as they always have done.
Did you know that Henry Ford when he designed the Model-T said it will run on ‘ethanol’ because ‘gas’ [petrol] is an old fashioned fuel. What happened? We’re now only just arriving back where Henry Ford started back in c1906.
Is technology to solve Global Warming problems being withheld? Probably. Proof of such will be impossible to obtain.

The ‘inventor’ is in jail on securities fraud charges. The patent office issues patents for filing proper paper work, not for devices that work. The patent is a method to burn fuel by ionizing it first. I think that the spark plug was invented awhile ago and does the same thing. There are only two ways to extract more usable energy from fuel. Burn it at a higher temperature (see Carnot engine) or burn it more completely. The ‘inventor’ claims 2-3X as much energy by more complete burning. This amount is not available and is an obvious scam. If he had claimed 2-3% instead, the claim would at least lie in the realm of physical possibility and would still be immensely valuable if it were true. The technology is being withheld because it doesn’t work.
If you realy want to invest your money, I’d be happy to sell you some waterfront property in Florida where you can see water 360 degress and as a special bonus water under your feet too!

Why do I get the feeling this is another American Idea! maybe their April fools day is later than ours or just maybe they have a point there are so many secrets over the Pond that another one won`t make that much difference in the short term (Area51etc etc)
